BK 3280 F'G 121 OFFICIAL RECORDS OF MOHAVE COUNTY~ AZ .lOAN Il(: (:ALL, MOHAVE COUNTY RECORDER 04/07/1999 12:03P PAGE 1 O.F ;3 ?EIHAVE COUNI'Y BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RECORDING FEE 0.OO RESOLUTION NO. 99-132 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING BETWEEN LOTS 19 AND 20, 25 AND 26, GOLDEN EAGLE RANCH, PHASE I, IN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD NAME BEING HIGH DESERT TRAIL, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on April 5, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Road Naming in the described area, as requested by Michael and Anna Chismar of Peach Springs, Arizona, and WHEREAS, this proposed road to be named is located south of State Highway 66 and approximately twelve and one-half (12~/2) miles south-southeast of Peach Springs, approximately one mile west of the Mohave/Yavapai County Line. The proposed road to be named is accessed from State Highway 66 via several undocumented roads running generally to the southwest to the site, located in the western portion of the east half of Section 29. The 60-foot roadway easement to be named runs from the southern section line of Section 29 to the north approximately five-eighths (%) mile to an unnamed east/west 60-foot roadway easement. The surrounding terrain is mountainous hills, generally sloping to the southeast, and WHEREAS, this road naming application has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing Coordinator, and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed named roads have been notified by first class mail. There have been no objections to the road naming, and WHEREAS, the fbllowing described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The road is legally accessible from another road right-of-way. d. The road name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911 addressing regulations for road naming. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on March 10, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of HIGH DESERT TRAIL as the proposed road name as shown on Exhibit "A." F'~i 2 OF' 3 BK 3280 F'~ :[22 FEE~990206,67 RESOLUTION NO. 99-132 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, March 17, 1999, and posted on March I9, 1999, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, April 5, 1999, APPROVED HIGH DESERT TRAIL as the proposed road name as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
