RESOLUTION NO. 99-172
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE RESCISSION OF RESOLUTION P&ZC: 89-117
WHICH APPROVED THE REZONE FOR LOT 14, BLOCK I, GOLDEN SAGE RANCHOS, UNIT
55, IN SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 18 WEST, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY
AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on May 10,
1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for the Rescission
of the Resolution for the Rezone for the above-described property as requested by the property owner of
record, Renee L. Showe of Golden Valley, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this property is located south of State Highway 68, between Aztec Road and Bacobi
Road. The site is accessed from State Highway 68 via south on Aztec Road to the site, located on the east
side approximately 500 feet south of State Highway 68. The property is vacant and relatively flat, sloping
slightly to the southwest. There are no significant drainage patterns, and
WHEREAS, this property was conditionally approved for a rezone to R-M/2A (Multiple-
Residential/Two Acre Minimum Lot Size) by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on July 3, 1989,
via Resolution P&ZC: 89-117. There have not been any requests for Extensions of Time. In her letter dated
February 12, 1999, the applicant requested that the rezoning be rescinded. The Mohave County General
Plan designates this area as an Urban Development Area, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The site has legal access.
d. There are no significant environmental features affecting the site.
WHEREAS, at the public heating before the Mohave County Planning amd Zo~fing Commission on
April 14, 1999, the Conunission recommended that Resolution P&ZC: 89-117 be rescinded and the zoning
will revert to A-R (Agricultural-Residential).
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kinlzjnan, Mohave County, Arizona, April 21, 1999, and posted on April 23, 1999, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, May 10, 1999, RESCINDED Resolution P&ZC: 89-117 and REVERTED the zoning to A-R
(Agricultural-Residential), as recommended by the Mohave County Planning amd Zoning Commission and
outlined herein.
