RESOLUTION NO. 99-179
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A 30-FOOT ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT NAMING ALONG THE EASTERN BOUNDARY OF THE SE¼ NW¼ AND THE
SW¼ OF SECTION 25, IN TOWNSHIP 27 NORTH, RANGE 21 WEST, THE PROPOSED NAME
BEING THREE GIRLS RANCH ROAD, IN THE WHITE HILLS PORTION OF THE MOHAVE
COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on May 10,
1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Roadway and
Public Utility Easement Naming in the described area, as requested by Velma Blackwell of Golden Valley,
Arizona, and
WHEREAS, this roadway and public utility easement to be named is located just west of U.S.
Highway 93, at the White Hills Road exit. The roadway easement is accessed from U.S. Highway 93, west
on the extension o£ White Hills Road on the west side of U.S. Highway 93 approximately one-quarter (%)
mile to the intersection. From this intersection, the easement runs to the north one-quarter (¼) mile to the
quarter section line, with 30-foot easements having been granted on both sides of the mid-section line. It
also runs south for one-half (½) mile to the southern boundary of Section 25. However, along this portion
only the west side of the mid-section line has a 30-foot easement granted. Therefore, only the western
portion of this easement is included in this proposal, for the entire length. In the future, should the eastem
portion be granted for the remainder of the alignment, it will assume the san~e name as proposed. The
surrounding area is relatively flat, sloping slightly to the southeast, and
WHEREAS, this roadway and public utility easement naming application has been reviewed and
approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the easement to be nan~ed have been notified by first
class mail. Due to the response of one adjacent property owner, the alignment of the proposed easement
naming has been modified from the origiual request, as indicated above. There has been one objection from
an adjoining property owner to the roadway aud public utility easement naming, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact axe for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The roadway and public utility easement is legally accessible from another road
right-of-way.

d. The proposed name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911
addressing regulations for road naming.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on
April 14, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of THREE GIRLS RANCH ROAD as the
name of the roadway and public utility easement as shown on Exhibit "A."
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, April 21, 1999, and posted on April 23, 1999, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, May 10, 1999, APPROVED THREE GIRLS RANCH ROAD as the roadway and public utility
easement name as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined
herein.
