HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-214 RESOLUTION NO. 99-214 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH A 30-FOOT ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT NAMING IN THE S¼ OF SECTIONS 35 AND 36, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, AND THE S~ OF SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, THE PROPOSED NAME BEING DRY CREEK TRAIL, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on June 7, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Roadway and Public Utility Easement Naming in the described area, as requested by Alvin and Janet Smith of Hemet, California, and WHEREAS, this roadway and public utility easement to be nmned is located in Round Valley Ranches, approximately 18 miles east of the City of Kingman and just south of Interstate 40 at Hackberry Road. The easement is accessed from Interstate 40, south on Silver Springs Road, then west on an unnamed easement, following along the south side of 1-40 for approximately three miles to Hackberry Road, then south on Hackberry Road one-quarter mile to the intersection. The easement starts in the eastern portion of Parcels 35-3 and 35-4, and runs east approximately two and three-quarter miles to its termination on the east side of Parcels 31-1 and 31-8, and WHEREAS, this roadway and public utility easement naming application has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County Rural Addressing Coordinator, and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the easement to be named have been notified by first class mail. There have been no objections to this request, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The road is legally accessible from another road right-of-way. d. The road name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911 addressing regulations for road naming. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on May 12, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of DRY CREEK TRAIL as the nmne of the roadway and public utility easement as shown on Exhibit "A." RESOLUTION NO. 99-214 Page 2 WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, May 19, 1999, and posted on May 21, 1999, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, June 7, 1999, APPROVED DRY CREEK TRAIL as the roadway and public utility easement name as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
