A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH AN AMENDMENT TO BOS RESOLUTION NO. 99-131
SETTING FORTH A ROAD NAMING BETWEEN THE NE¼ AND SE¼ OF SECTION 22 AND IN
THE N',VV~ NE¼ SW¼ OF SECTION 22, TOWNSHIP 25 NORTH, RANGE 17 WEST, THE
PROPOSED ROAD NAME BEING D'AMBRO RANCH ROAD, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY
GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave Comity Board of Supervisors held on July 9,
1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether an Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 99-13 l
setting forth a ROAD NAMING, should be granted for the above-described property as requested by
Mohave County Plamfing and Zoning Department. The property owner is Jolm V. D'Ambro, Jr., of
Kingman, Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the language to be added has been bolded and double underlined. Language to be
deleted has been ...... , and
WHEREAS, this proposed road to be uamed is located on the east side of Stockton Hill Road,
approximately 23 miles north of the City of Kingman. The proposed road to be named is accessed from
Kingman via north ou Stockton Hill Road approximately 24.5 miles from Interstate 40 to the proposed road,
located on the east side of Stockton Hill Road. The road runs to the northeast at 90 degrees to Stockton Hill
Road to its intersection with the mid-section line of Section 22, then along the mid-section line to its
terminus with the eastern boundary of Section 22. The surrounding area is gently rolling hills, generally
sloping to the southeast, and
WHEREAS, the applicant requests this Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 99-131 setting
forth a ROAD NAMING to correct a scrivener error in the legal description for this property. The
legal description should read "....a ROAD NAMING between the NE¼ and SE¼ of Section 22 and in
the NE¼ SW¼ of Section 22, Township 25 North, Range 17 West....". The Mohave County General
Plan designates this area as a Rural Development Area, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The road is legally accessible from another road right-of-way.
d. The road name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911 addressing
regulations for road naming.

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission on
June 9, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 99-
131 setting forth a ROAD NAMING subject to the following:
1. The legal description is changed to read "....a ROAD NAMING between the NE¼ and SE¼
of Section 22 and in the NE¼ SW¼ of Section 22, Township 25 North, Range 17 West...."
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, June 23, 1999, and posted on June 24, 1999, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Friday, July 9, 1999, APPROVED this Amendment to BOS Resolution No. 99-131 setting forth a ROAD
NAM1NG as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
