RESOLUTION NO. 99-260
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH TWO (2) 60-FOOT ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENTS NAMING IN GOLDEN EAGLE RANCH, PHASE I, IN THE S~ OF SECTIONS 29
AND 30, AND THE NH OF SECTIONS 31 AND 32, TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 10 WEST,
THE PROPOSED ROADWAY EASEMENT NAMES BEING SOUTHERN PASS AND PINE
MOUNTAIN ROAD, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY,
ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on July 9,
1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for two (2) Roadway
and Public Utility Easement Namings in the described area, as requested by Juanita Cooper of Seligman,
Arizona, and
WHEREAS, the roadway and public utility easements proposed to be named am 60 feet in width.
They are located in Golden Eagle Ranch, Phase I, approximately 12 miles south of Highway 66 and one mile
west of the Mohave/Yavapai County line. The easements are accessed from Highway 66 via several
undocumented roads running generally to the southeast to the site. The first roadway easement, to be named
"Southern Pass", runs south for one-quarter mile between Sections 29 and 30, Township 23 North, Range
10 West, to the second roadway easement to be named. This section line roadway easement, to be named
"Pine Mountain Road", runs east for approximately three-quarter mile between Sections 29 and 32 to its
terminus at Munds Pasture Road, and
WHEREAS, there have been no objections to this request, and
WHEREAS, this road naming application has been reviewed and approved by the Mohave County
Rural Addressing Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The roadway easements are legally accessible from another road right-of-way.
d. All property owners adjoining the roadway easements, were notified by first class mail.
e. The easement names have been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911
addressing regulations for road naming.

WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on
June 9, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of SOUTHERN PASS a~nd PINE MOUNTAIN
ROAD as the names of the roadway and public utility easements as shown on Exhibit "A."
WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave Connty, Arizona, June 23, 1999, amd posted on June 24, 1999, as required
by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Friday, July 9, 1999, APPROVED SOUTHERN PASS and PINE MOUNTAIN ROAD as the roadway
and public utility easement names as recommended by the Mohave County Plmming and Zoning
Commission and outlined herein.
