A RIfSOLUTION SETTING FORTIt AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR A REZONE OF THE
SOUTIt 1,035.3 FEET OF TIlE WEST 442.93 FEET, EXCLUDING THE SOUTH 50 FEET, OF
THE SE'A OF SECTION 19, IN TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 16 WEST, FROM A-R/10A
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TEN ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE TO A-R/2A
(AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL/TWO ACRE MINIMUM LOT SIZE) ZONE, IN THE
KINGMAN AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meetiog of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on August 9,
1999. a public hearing ,,,:'as condacted to determine whether an Extension of Time for a Rezone should be
gl'atncd li)r tile abuve-describcd property as requested by John D. and Cynthia L. Burt of Kingman, Arizona,
and
WIIEREAS, this property is located on the north side of Jagerson Avenue east of Mohave
Community College. The site is accessed froln Stockton Hill Road via east on Jagerson Avenue to the
property, located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Jagerson Avenue and the extension of North
Roosevelt Street. The property has a single-family residence and the terrain is relatively flat, sloping slightly
toward the southeast. The surrounding land uses consist of Cerbat Elementary School to the east, single-
family residences to the south and Mohavc Community College approximately one-quarter of a mile to the

WHEREAS, this rezone wats conditionally approved by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors
on July 13, 1998 via BOS Resolution No. 98-265, and
WHEREAS, this Extension o['Time will allow the applicant time to complete the conditions as
reqoired by BOS Resolution No. 98-265 and as requested by their letter dated May 13, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the property owuer has not accomplished any of the conditions of approval as required
by B()S l~csolulion No. 98-265. and
WilEREAS. this will be the first Extension of Time for this property, and
WHEREAS, a review of FEMA FIiLM Panel #040058-2165C indicates the parcel described to be
in Zone B, in the Special Flood Hazard Area, and

WilEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All uotices have beea advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the IVlohave County General Plan.
c. Thc site is adequate tbr the action intended and the use is consistent with the surrounding
[and usus and terrain.
d. The neighboring area cootains other like land uses similar to the above-proposed action.
¢. The site has legal uccess.
There are no significant environmental features affecting the site, except the noted Special
Flood Hazard Area.
g. This request complies with the Extension of Time Policy.
WHEREAS, at the public bearing betbre the Mohave County Plarming and Zoning Commission on
.luly 14, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL for an Extension of Time for a Rezone subject
to the lbllowing:
Colnpliance with tbe couditions of BOS Resolution No. 98-265.
2. This Extension of Time will be ill effect until July 13, 2000.
WI IEREAS, the notice ol: hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, IVlohax. e Couuty, A~zona, Jul5, 21, 1999, and posted on July 23, 1999, as required
by Arizona Revised Statntes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW TI1EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, August 9, 1999, Al'PROVED this Extension of Time for a Rezone as recommended by the
