HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-301 RESOLUTION NO. 99-301 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in session this 9th day of August, 1999, and; WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County acknowledged and referred to the Mohave County Transportation Commission the Petition to Establish Verde Drive as a County Highway on the 8th day of March, 1999, and; WHEREAS, in their April 13, 1999 meeting, the Mohave County Transportation Commission reviewed the Petition and unanimously voted to recommend to the Mohave County Board of Supervisors to Accept the Request to Establish Verde Road as a County Highway, and; WHEREAS, on the 26th of July, 1999, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County, Arizona, set August 9, 1999 in the Mohave County Board of Supervisors Meeting Room for Public Hearing the request to Establish Verde Drive as a County Highway, and; WHEREAS, a map and description of said proposed Highway was available and the right-of-way status has been reviewed by the County Engineer and determined that the right-of- way has been or may be acquired for Public Roadway use by purchase, public easement, dedication or grant, and; WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set, and the Mohave County Board of Supervisors invited comment and considered the feasibility, advantages, disadvantages, and necessity of said proposed County Highway, and; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Petition to Establish Verde Drive as a County Highway from Highway 68 (Section 8, Township 21 N, Range 18W) to Burro Drive (Section 5, Township 21 N, Range 18 W) is hereby ACCEPTED. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 1999.
