RESOLUTION NO. 99-354
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
NAMINGS IN CEDAR HILLS RANCHES, UNIT 9, IN SECTIONS 23, 24, 25, 26, AND 36,
TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST; AND SECTIONS 19, 29, 30, 31, AND 32, TOWNSHIP
21 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, THE PROPOSED ROAD NAMES BEING LANCE ROAD, MONA
DRIVE, POWERLINE ROAD, RANDY RANCH ROAD, AND DIANA DRIVE, IN THE MOHAVE
COUNTY GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on
September 7, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for
Roadway and Public Utility Easement Namings in the described area, as requested by Mohave County
Planning and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, the roadway and public utility easements proposed to be named are 60 feet in width.
They are located in Cedar Hills Ranches, Unit 9, ranging from one-half to one and one-half miles north of
Interstate 40, and from Silver Springs Road to Hackberry Road. The roadway easements are accessed from
Interstate 40, north on Silver Springs Road for approximately one-half mile to the intersection of the first
roadway easement, which is proposed to be "Powerline Road." The remaining roadway easements are
accessed via proposed "Powerline Road" as they connect in northerly and westerly directions.
WHEREAS, this application has been reviewed by the Mohave County Addressing Coordinator.
There have been no objections to the proposed roadway easement nantes. This request is being processed
to correct addressing anomalies for the 911 Emergency Response System, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. ' The roadway easements are legally accessible from another road right-of-way.
d. The roadway easement names have been checked for compliance with the Mohave County
911 addressing regulations for road naming.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on
August 11, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of LANCE ROAD, MONA DRIVE,
POWERLINE ROAD, RANDY RANCH ROAD, AND DIANA DRIVE as the name of the roadway and
public utility easements, as shown on Exhibit "A."

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, August 18, 1999, and posted on August 20, 1999, as
required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Tuesday, September 7, 1999, APPROVED LANCE ROAD, MONA DRIVE, POWERLINE ROAD,
RANDY RANCH ROAD, and DIANA DRIVE as the roadway and public utility easement names as
recommended by the Mohave County Plauning ai~/~Zoning Commission and outlined herein·
