HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-382 ~,,,~_ C[)[)~TY ,C~E,) O~ ~W?,L~;'V;.O~:'~~ RESOLUTION NO. 99-382 A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE NAMING OF A ROADWAY AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE NE¼ NW¼ OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 19 WEST, THE ROADWAY EASEMENT NAME BEING ELLIOT LANE, IN THE GOLDEN VALLEY AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA. WHEREAS, at the regular meet'rog of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on October 4, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted for a Roadway and Public Utility Easement Naming in the described area, as requested by the Mohave County Plarming and Zoning Department, and WHEREAS, the roadway easement to be named is 30 feet in width. It is located approximately one-half mile west of Estrella Road and runs south off of Unkar Drive for 860 feet to its terminus, and WHEREAS, the name of"Elliot Lane" was assigned for the purpose of making addressing available for the installation of utilities and pemfit processing. The name follows the road nan~e pattern in the area; that of names beginning with the letter "E." "Elliot Lane" is currently being used for the addressing of adjoining properties by the property owners. This action is to legitimize the road name for the 911 Emergency Response System and cartographic documentation. There have been no objections to the roadway easement name, and WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item: a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations. b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan. c. The roadway easement is legally accessible from another road right-of-way. d. The roadway easement name has been checked for compliance with the Mohave County 911 addressing regulations for road naming. WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on September 8, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of ELLIOT LANE as the name of the roadway and public utility easement as shown on Exhibit "A." WHEREAS, the notice of heating was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 15, 1999, and posted on September 17, 1999, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations. RESOLUTION NO. 99-382 Page 2 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting on Monday, October 4, 1999, APPROVED ELLIOT LANE as the roadway and public utility easement name as recommended by the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
