RESOLUTION NO. 99-394
A RESOLUTION SETTING FORTH THE NAMING OF THREE (3) ROADWAY AND PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENTS IN SPRING VALLEY RANCHES, UNIT 1, IN SECTIONS 25 AND 26,
TOWNSHIP 23 NORTH, RANGE 14 WEST, THE ROADWAY EASEMENT NAMES BEING
JARVIS WAY, JARVIS COURT, AND TREE LINE COVE, IN THE MOHAVE COUNTY
GENERAL AREA, MOHAVE COUNTY, ARIZONA.
WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mohave County Board of Supervisors held on Monday,
October 4, 1999, a public hearing was conducted to determine whether approval should be granted to name
three (3) Roadway and Public Utility Easements in the above-described area, as requested by Mohave
County Plmming and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, the first two roadway easements are 40 feet in width and are accessed from Spring
Valley Drive, south on Jarvis Lane for approximately one-eighth mile to the site. "Jarvis Way" runs west
off of Jarvis Lane for 812 feet to its terminus, and "Jarvis Court" runs east off of Jarvis Lane for 679 feet
to its terminus. The third roadway easement, "Tree Line Cove," is 60 feet in width and is accessed via
Spring Valley Drive, south on Frerichs Ranch Road for one-half mile to Tree Line Drive, then west on Tree
Line Drive for three-quarters mile to end. "Tree Line Cove" then runs north for 638 feet to its terminus, and
WHEREAS, the names were assigned for the purpose of making addressing available for the
installation of utilities and pemfit processing. The names follow the pattern of existing road names in the
area and are currently being used for the addressing of adjoining properties by property owners. This action
is to legitimize the roadway easement names for the 911 Emergency Response System and cartographic
documentation. There have been no objections to the roadway easement names, and
WHEREAS, the following described Findings of Fact are for the above-captioned item:
a. All notices have been advertised and posted according to regulations.
b. The proposed action and effect complies with the Mohave County General Plan.
c. The roadway easements are legally accessible from another road right-of-way.
d. The roadway easement names have been checked for compliance with the Mohave County
911 addressing regulations for road naming.
WHEREAS, at the public hearing before the Mohave County Planning & Zoning Commission on
September 8, 1999, the Commission recommended APPROVAL of JARVIS WAY, JARVIS COURT, AND
TREE LiNE COVE as the names of the roadway and public utility easements as shown on Exhibit "A."

WHEREAS, the notice of hearing was published in The Standard, a newspaper of general
circulation in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona, September 15, 1999, and posted on September 17, 1999,
as required by Arizona Revised Statutes and the Mohave County Zoning Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting
on Monday, October 4, 1999, APPROVED JARVIS WAY, JARVIS COURT, and TREE LINE COVE as
the roadway and public utility easement names as recommended by the Mohave County Plam~ing and
Zoning Commission and outlined herein.
