(Establishment of County Highway)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County met in session this 4"'
day of August, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Mohave County, has the authority, under such limitations and restrictions
as are prescribed by law , to lay out, maintain control and manage public roads within the
County pursuant to A.R.S. §11 - 251.4, as amended by Laws 2003, Ch. 189,§ 1: and
WHEREAS, Mohave County has the authority to establish or alter highways in the
County pursuant to A.R.S. § 28- 6701(A), Added by Laws 1995, Ch. 132, § 3, eff Oct. 1,
1997; and
WHEREAS, the County Engineer, pursuant to A.R.S. § 11- 562(B), Laws 1956, Ch. 129,
shall, under the direction of the Board of Supervisors, have full charge of all highways,
other engineering construction and improvements, alterations and repairs to County
property, and shall make surveys, maps, plans, and specifications required by the Board
of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, on the 21St day of July, 2014 the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County
Arizona set August 4, 2014 in the Mohave County Board of Supervisors Auditorium in
Kingman, Arizona for a Public Hearing on the recommendation to establish Wilson
Ranch Road from Blake Ranch Road to Singer Road as a County Highway; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set and the Mohave County
Board of Supervisors invited comment and considered the feasibility advantages
disadvantages and necessity of said proposed County Highway; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Wilson Ranch Road from Blake Ranch Road
to Singer Road and to the extent not previously established as a County Highway or
roadway and until abandoned or vacated in accordance with law is hereby ordered
established as County Highway under the charge of the County Engineer for the purpose
of accepting Wilson Ranch Road from Blake Ranch Road to Singer Road into the
Mohave County Road Maintenance System for maintenance only to the degree of
improvement as a gravel roadway.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 2014

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Board of Supervisors will consider establishing a 0.21 -mile section of
Wilson Ranch Road from Blake Ranch Road to Singer Road, located in Mohave County in the Round
Valley area, as a County Highway for purpose of accepting this road into the Mohave County Road
Maintenance System for maintenance only to the degree of improvement as a gravel roadway.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors at their meeting on the 4th day of
August, 2014 at the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 700 W. Beale St., Kingman, Arizona will hear
this item. Any and all persons desiring to object the action requested in the Petition are hereby directed
to file with the Board a statement in writing setting forth their objection or opposition, and show cause
why the Petition should not be granted.
